Barnes Foundation New Campus

Visit the Barnes Foundation's renowned art collection at its beautiful new campus in Philadelphia. Two new galleries are filled with natural light for viewing the Foundation's amazing collection of impressionism, post-impressionism, and early modern art from Europe and America, Pennsylvania German decorative arts, African sculpture, Native American textiles, as well as for experiencing their exciting special exhibitions. Great programs for children and adults, concerts, and in-depth tours of the collections also make this a great place for art exploration.

Open Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm; Fridays 10am-10pm; and Saturday-Sunday 10am-8pm. Closed Tuesdays.

Prices -

Adults starting at $18; Seniors (65+) starting at $15; Students and Youth starting at $10; Children (0-5) are free. Admission price varies depending on day and time of visit.

Membership Benefits

There are eight membership categories at the Barnes Foundation. All memberships include free admission (with reservations), members-only programs, priority access to tickets, special exhibition previews, and discounts at the store and restaurants, discounts on parking, discounts on public programs and classes, and a monthly e-newsletter.

Visitor Guidelines

Food and drink is not permitted in the galleries, auditorium, and library. The building is a non-smoking environment. Child-carrier backpacks, large purses and bags, umbrellas, tripods, and coats must be checked into the coatroom. Oversized strollers may be prohibited from the galleries. Phone calls are not permitted in the galleries, auditorium, and library. Photography and sketching are not permitted in the galleries. Please do not touch the collections.   • What are the tour options?


    The Foundation offers three tour options. A free audio tour can be downloaded to most smart phones and tablets. Hour-long, docent-led tours are available for purchase. On Tuesdays, the Foundation offers the Premier Tour ($75; $65 for members), an intimate 90-minute tour of the collections led by an ensemble of knowledgeable docents.
  • Are there any dining options available on site?


    There are two dining options at the Barnes Foundation. The Coffee Bar serves light breakfast and lunch fare such as coffee, cold drinks, sweets, salads, and sandwiches. The Garden Restaurant offers a seasonal menu of hot and cold entrees, as well as wine and cocktails. Seasonal outdoor seating is also available.
